Answers:
1. Is Barama an idea contest?
Barama is not an idea contest! It is not an online competition where ideas are received and winners awarded! Barama is a project that seeks innovations in the telecom industry, and seeks people who can realize those innovations. This project is considered for people who have valuable innovative ideas and at the same time have appropriate skills, knowledge, enthusiasm and time to develop their ideas.
2. What features should my idea possess?
First of all, your idea should concern Information Communication Technologies (telecom sector). Irrelevant ideas, desires, or plans will not be considered by the project. Moreover, your idea should have some sort of innovation in it. This innovation may also be a technological innovation. Bear in mind that the idea that you send will be worked on and developed by yourself and your own efforts. Therefore, your idea should correspond with your knowledge, experience and skills. In other words, it is not acceptable to have an innovative idea, but no knowledge needed to develop it.
4. After sending my idea online to Azercell, how will I know if my idea is accepted or not?
While filling in the application form it is necessary to provide both your e-mail address and phone number. When you send your idea to Azercell, the idea is being received and evaluated. The result of evaluation will be communicated to you by e-mail.
5. What happens if my idea is accepted?
There are mainly two necessary conditions for your application to be competitive: the idea you send should be innovative and you should be skillful enough to develop it. If as a result of evaluation your idea is accepted, you will be offered a workspace in Barama office and will start working on and developing your idea in Barama office. You will be given a certain deadline for completing the development of your idea. You will also be given various types of support throughout your work process. When the deadline is over, you will be required to present a business plan reflecting the implementation of your innovative idea
6. By becoming a participant in Barama project, do I also become an Azercell employee?
Becoming a participant in Barama project does not make you an Azercell employee. You will participate in Barama project as an independent researcher, but will be able to take the benefits of support provided by Azercell.
7. Will I receive a salary while working in Barama office?
You will not receive a salary while working in Barama.
8. What happens after I finish working on my idea in Barama office?
When you complete working on your idea successfully and your idea is ready for realization, you will hold the ownership rights of the developed idea/good/service and will offer Azercell to purchase the user rights. The ownership rights will remain with you. If you don’t achieve successful completion of your work in Barama project (i.e. if you are not able to further develop your idea and bring it to maturity), then you will leave the project and new candidates will be invited.
